Terms of use

Effective date: October 15, 2026. Last updated: October 15, 2026.

These terms are the rules for using LearnToTick. They are written in plain language. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Who runs LearnToTick

LearnToTick is operated by VWAP Ventures LLC, a Missouri limited liability company ("we", "us"). You can reach us at [email protected].

LearnToTick is a free course that teaches the basics of futures trading to complete beginners. It is funded by voluntary donations. It is its own project. Links to other communities or products, such as Crossroads Markets, are provided for convenience; those are separate services with their own terms.

2. Educational content only, not investment advice

Everything on LearnToTick is educational content only. Nothing here is financial, investment, trading, tax or legal advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell any contract or other investment. We do not know your finances or goals, and we do not give advice to individuals.

Futures trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. You can lose more than you put in. Examples, prices and numbers on this site are for teaching only. Past results do not guarantee future results. Any trading decision you make is yours alone. Please also read our risk disclaimer.

Passing a LearnToTick quiz or earning a role is not a license, a registration, a professional qualification or proof that you are ready to trade. It is not connected to any exam run by a regulator or exchange, including the Series 3 exam.

3. Who can use the site

LearnToTick is not intended for anyone under 18. If you are under 18, please do not log in, take quizzes or join the email list.

4. Accounts and Discord login

You can read every lesson without an account. To take a quiz you log in with Discord. We do not create a separate LearnToTick password. When you log in, Discord asks you to allow us the "identify" permission, which shares your basic Discord profile with us. See the privacy policy for what we keep.

Your use of Discord, including the LearnToTick Discord server, is also governed by Discord's own terms and policies. Joining the server is optional. You are responsible for your Discord account and for activity that happens when you are logged in.

5. Quizzes, roles and fair play

Passing a quiz can give you the next role in the LearnToTick Discord server, using our bot. Roles are how we track progress through the course. Quiz rules, such as the pass mark and the wait after a failed attempt, are shown on each quiz page and can change.

Please keep the quizzes honest. You agree not to:

If we believe a quiz result was not earned fairly, or a role was given in error, we may cancel the result, remove roles, and limit or end your access to quizzes. Roles are given at our discretion and can be changed or removed at any time.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use LearnToTick to break the law, to harass or harm anyone, to send spam, to sign up email addresses that are not yours, to interfere with the site or its servers, to copy the site in bulk, or to pretend to be someone else, including LearnToTick or George.

Behavior in the Discord server is also covered by the server's own rules, which moderators enforce.

7. Our content

The lessons, quiz questions, explanations, videos, text, graphics, the LearnToTick name and the site design belong to VWAP Ventures LLC or are used with permission. You may read and use them for your own learning. You may share links to any page. You may not copy, republish, sell or build a product from our content, including quiz banks, without written permission.

Names of exchanges, regulators, brokers and other companies mentioned in lessons belong to their owners. Mentioning them does not mean they endorse LearnToTick.

8. Links to other sites

Lessons link to outside sources, such as exchange and regulator websites, and to videos hosted on other platforms. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or how they handle your data.

9. Donations

LearnToTick is free. Donations are voluntary and help keep it running. A donation does not buy any product, service, course access, quiz result, role, advice or special treatment.

Donations are processed by Stripe and are subject to Stripe's terms. Donations are paid to VWAP Ventures LLC to support the course. LearnToTick is not a charity, and donations are not tax-deductible. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.

Donations are non-refundable. The one exception: if you made a duplicate or mistaken donation, contact us within 30 days and we will refund it.

10. Disclaimers

LearnToTick is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep lessons accurate and cite sources, but we do not promise that every lesson, quiz or explanation is complete, current or free of errors. Contract specifications, fees, trading hours and rules change; always check the exchange, your broker and the regulator before relying on any fact. We do not promise that the site, quizzes, login or role assignment will always be available or work without interruption.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, VWAP Ventures LLC, its owner, and anyone helping run LearnToTick are not liable for any trading or investment losses, lost profits, lost data, or indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, its content, the quizzes or the Discord server. If we are found liable for anything, our total liability is limited to $100. Some places do not allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

12. Ending access

You can stop using LearnToTick at any time. We may suspend or end your access to quizzes, the email list or the Discord server if you break these terms, or if we close or change the service.

13. Changes to the service and these terms

LearnToTick is a work in progress. We may change, add or remove lessons, quizzes, rules and features. We may also update these terms. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and for important changes we will try to give notice on the site or by email to confirmed subscribers. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located in Clay County, Missouri.
